Spain Non-Lucrative Visa
Country
If you are thinking of moving to Spain for retirement purposes, the non-lucrative residency is the most suitable option. This visa grants residency rights to foreigners in Spain. It is intended for retirees, investors, and remote or independent workers. This visa does not allow you to work in Spain and requires proof of sufficient financial means to support yourself and, if applicable, your family.
The initial duration of this visa is 90 days. However, your one-year residence permit is simultaneously processed along with your application for a visa.
Requirements
- You must not have a criminal record
- Your country of origin must issue you with a visa to show that you are in Spain in a legal capacity
- You must have a medical insurance policy in place to cover your time in Spain
